Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated DSCSA Exceptions Specialist to join their client's team in Durham, North Carolina. This role focuses on handling exceptions and discrepancies for incoming prescription products, ensuring compliance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
Responsibilities
- Complete exception handling for incoming receiving including data discrepancies, damaged products, overages and shortages, and product identifier issues.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as damages, shortages, and overages for all prescription products received inbound.
- Maintain GLN (Global Location Number) and GTIN (Global Tracking Identification Number) master data for DSCSA compliance.
- Oversee the physical maintenance and disposition of quarantined products per SOPs.
- Complete the new vendor onboarding process.
- Scan 2D barcodes and sort packing slips from Receiving.
- Scan packing lists into electronic storage solutions and identify non-compliant manufacturers' packing slips.
- Verify products received against packing lists and enter lot and serial level data into the ERP system for tracking.
- Research customer return lot and serial number failures and determine whether to receive problem shipments or return to vendors.
- Track shipments as needed for process resolution and communicate with internal departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Engage in physical activities including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and handling paperwork and equipment.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in receiving (Required).
- 1 year of experience in receiving discrepancy resolution (Required).
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details
Pay range is $37,450 to $47,850 per year.
